Comprehensive Labor Doula Package
As your birthkeeper I will provide continuous care from pregnancy, through labor and birth, and up to two hours after baby's arrival. I offer unbiased support for all births including unassisted, homebirth, hospital birth and cesarean.
During the two prenatal visits I will help you and your birth partner understand the labor process for medicated or unmedicated births and discover more about your body and baby. You will learn helpful labor positions and pain management techniques, I will provide evidence based information and will advocate for informed consent. We will discuss prenatal appointments and what to expect along with child birth and breastfeeding basics. I will assist you with developing a birth plan that will work for you and baby.
During labor and birth I will help you and your birth partner apply pain management and labor techniques. I will help emotionally and empower you to follow your instincts. After birth I can help you establish breastfeeding, encourage skin to skin and ensure you are comfortable and stable before I leave the birth location.
After baby is born I offer one postpartum visit. During this visit we can discuss any concerns or questions you may have and I will provide continuous breastfeeding support, as needed. All families will receive 15% off the postpartum doula package.
During two prenatal visits I will help you and your birth partner discover more about your body and baby. We will create a birth plan that will work for you. You and your birth partner will learn helpful labor positions and pain management techniques. We will Discuss prenatal appointments and what to expect along with child birth and breastfeeding basics.
During the days following baby's arrival I will help your family transition smoothly into the postpartum period. We can discuss infant care, if needed. Infant feeding support for breastfeeding and formula feeding. I provide an extra set of hand around the house and will do light housekeeping, errand running, and meal preparation. Minimum of 20 hours.
Breastfeeding Support Sessions
Prenatal Breastfeeding Support
Breastfeeding support can begin before the baby even arrives. During a prenatal support session we will discuss some of the benefits of breastfeeding, show examples of different holds and proper latch, pumping and milk storage and any other concerns and questions that arise.
Postpartum Breastfeeding Support
Breastfeeding sessions after baby is born will assess any difficulties and potential ways to overcome them, demonstrate positioning and latch and address any other questions or concerns you may have. Session will not offer any treatments or a medical diagnosis and will refer to International Board Certified Lactation Consultant if needed.
Having a strong support team during the first few months of breastfeeding is so important. Please feel free to call or text any time!

Placenta Services in Kansas
The benefits of placenta consumption are still being discovered and may include less anxiety and feeling more balanced, more energy, less hair loss, enhanced milk supply and reduced risk of postpartum depression and mood disorders.
The placenta will be prepared in your own home enabling you to feel more involved and knowledgeable about the process. I can answer any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
Our preparation services include placenta encapsulation, placenta tincture, keepsake options of your choice and more!
You will receive four 2oz dropper bottles. These will be made and stored in your home until they are ready by six weeks postpartum. Tinctures can be good for years after they are made.
You will receive 100 to 200 capsules. These typically last between 6 weeks to 3 months. If not used within a 6 month period you can freeze and use as needed.
