Western Kansas Birthkeeping supports all birthing styles and offers evidence based information, reliable doula services, placenta encapsulation and lactation support.
At Western Kansas Birthkeeping our mission is to prepare and educate families for pregnancy, labor, the postpartum period, and beyond. We strive to reduce the risk of birth trauma with continuous support and advocacy for informed consent.
What Is a Doula/Birthkeeper?
Birthkeepers and Doulas support families during pregnancy, birth, and the time after. We hold the space families need to give birth exactly as they wish. We encourage families to know their rights and empower themselves with knowledge. We ensure that they are welcoming babies as gently and powerfully into the world as possible.

Giving Back to the Community
Follow Western Kansas Birthkeeping to learn more about how we are giving back to the community. We host free community events in Hays, Great Bend and the surrounding communities to give mothers and families an opportunity to connect with local birth workers, find advice and reassurance throughout their pregnancy, and have access to their local resources.
Western Kansas Birthkeeping accepts and matches donations which are given back to the families that need them through doula care, breastfeeding support, postpartum support and more!
$50 - A mother/family can receive 1 pre-natal session which include a birth plan, and comfort measures demonstration, and what to expect.
$150 - A mother/family can receive the above package plus 24/7 virtual prenatal, birth, and postpartum support. This is great for families to have a birth professional on call for any of their non-medical questions, concerns, and emotional support.
$350- A mother/family can receive a comprehensive doula package with support throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
